It was just 3 months before the launch of a new vegan bouillon cube. Pilots seemed successful, but somehow a technical issue popped up, that needed to be fixed urgently. Who could take care of that? Everybody was already extremely busy.
At first the Project Leads were hesitant to introduce a new project manager into their project so close to launch… Would it be of added value? Would it be worth the time and energy they had to put in me?
Yes it was!
Because it took me 2 hours to get an idea of the assignment. With some contact details provided, I got in touch with the technical project leads, got a more detailed view in another 2 hours, prepared a plan and took over leading the teammeeting the day after.
