Innovation = value creation
In addition to creativity, this also requires structure and focus.
Creativity to come up with those new solutions.
Structure and focus to make the right choices in an objective, efficient way.
And to take a step back every now and then and to check with customers and stakeholders whether that added value is really being realised.
Technicole Consultancy controls that process.
Innovation projects with clearly described phases and milestones.
The purpose of the phasing is to keep an overview and to keep the focus on the goals. Does the product still meet the requirements and is this the most promising project to work on?

Reflection
The purpose of the milestones is to build in moments of reflection.
For each milestone, there are pre-agreed matters that must be investigated before the next phase can start. Think of risk management, technical feasibility, costs and investments and above all: what does the customer think of this idea, of this product or service?
Does the product fulfill a need, or does it create a new experience?
Is the customer willing to pay what you ask?
You should ask those questions at every stage. With the answers you can then decide what that means for the project: continue, adapt or stop?
This requires that the various experts in your company work simultaneously to work out all these matters further at each stage and to assess the result. A cross-functional team approach. Everyone has a role per phase, to develop the product a bit further.
Right to exist project
Is it still feasible within the set requirements? And does that make the business case still valid?
Is there a right to exist for this idea or is it better to put your money and energy into another idea?
That’s the moment of reflection!
Technicole Consultancy can help with every aspect of the process and has experience with a wide variety of products, all of which have been realized (or have been canceled) with such phasing. Focus can differ per project, but the cross-functional approach and the phasing remain the same. From the kick-off to realization.
The input and review of all involved is an important key to success!
