Months of hard work, a lot of money invested and did not lead to an enthusiastic customer. But we did what was asked, right?
Well, maybe not. A lot of information is lost in a transfer and we quickly think that the other person knows exactly what we mean. This picture with the swing, illustrates it well: how everyone understood it. With all the best of intentions.
Unfortunately, we don’t get there with the best of intentions and hope it goes well.
Because I can assure you: I have not seen that go well! Vague requirements, or poorly documented requirements, lead to disappointment. A lot of time will have to be invested to really understand what is being asked for and why. Which problem will be solved? Or which position will be fulfilled? How can we demonstrate that the product or service meets the requirements?
I have a lot of experience with that and can advise well.
